A short, subject-specific diagnostic establishes a real starting point — where the student actually is, not a generic placement bucket.

The engine maps weak concepts to specific skill nodes and builds a path that targets those gaps first, in the right order.

During each session, every wrong, slow, or hesitant answer is classified. The tutor switches explanation method until the concept lands.

Mastery updates continuously. Families get a plain-language weekly summary; teachers get a live concept-mastery heatmap.

Every response is tagged to a concept node so the system knows why, not only that, it was wrong.
